Serving Georgia Families For Two Decades
Serving Georgia Families For Two Decades
I have practiced divorce and family law exclusively for 20 years. I began my legal career as law clerk to the Honorable Michael E. Hancock, Superior Court of DeKalb County where I gained valuable insight into the court system and its consideration of family law matters. Thereafter, I worked for some of the most prestigious family law firms in the Atlanta, Georgia area before venturing out to build my own law firm with my partner in 2013. Today, I have a solo practice providing me with the opportunity to continue representing individuals in family law matters and to also offer services as a mediator to both represented and unrepresented parties.
I was recognized in 2006 & 2007 as a Super Lawyers® Georgia Rising Star, in 2013 & 2015 as a Georgia Trend Legal Elite, and in 2018 through 2022 as one of an elite group of Georgia Super Lawyers®. I have had the opportunity to lecture before other members of the State Bar of Georgia and nationally on issues related to family law, custody, social media discovery and admissibility, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements and financial settlements. In addition to representing parties to a family law dispute, I am frequently appointed to represent the best interests of children involved in such disputes as a Guardian Ad Litem.
I received my J.D. from Georgia State University in 1997, and a B.A. in History in 1990. Prior to beginning my career in the law, I worked in sports marketing and management. I have been licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia since 1997 and in the state of California since 2005.
I love to travel all over the world as often as possible, and in between trips, I reside in Atlanta, Georgia with my husband and two boys.
